This is a continuation of a RP me and Gray did a while bad ago, and we want to continue it. I'll be starting off.

The morning had come slowly, painstakingly slowly. The night had brought scary noises, fearing beasts, and even thieving humans, who had gone around trying to steal what they could to help themselves. And only themselves. It seemed now a days that humans only started caring only for themselves, their one and only person.

The human kingdom was doing downhill. The king had been taxing the hell out of his villagers, raising the prices just so he could have more money. He didn't care how it effected their lives, how it put a toll on the people and their families. He only cared about how rich he was getting, how he ruled over them with even more power than he had before. He was a terrible king, but everyone was afraid to tell him this, to stand up against him.

To even make matters worse, the kind had started to post more threats towards the elves. This made the relationship between them and the humans even worse. Raids happened in both kingdoms, from either side about once or twice every week. Countless lives were being lost, and no one was doing a thing to stop it. It was heart breaking, to watch the two go against each other, instead of trying and being friends. It hurt Paradox to watch, to hear about.

Paradox stood beside a curved tree, his fingers wound tightly around one of his branches, as he leaned forward.. His eyes were fixed on the village below, watching the people as they walked about. Woman trying to buy high priced food for her children, men arguing about prices of what to sell their merchandise for. Seeing most of his people dress in dirty, torn rags compared to the nice clothing they used to wear before the raised taxes. He had been gone for so long, it hurt his heart to see what his father had done to his people while he was gone. Paradox couldn't help but feel, some of this was his fault. His father getting back of him for leaving him behind, running off with his elven lover, leaving him behind. It wouldn't matter what his father did to get him back, he wouldn't love him anymore. Not after he tried to kill him, because he went against his wishes.

His hand gripped even tighter against the branch, cracking it gently as he thought about what his father had done to him. Some parent trying to kill his own child, how heartless could one be towards one of their own? His own spawn? It was unforgivable, the behavior of the king. He needed to be stopped somehow, and he would figure that out.....in some way.

Paradox released his death grip from the branch, shaking his head causing his hair to brush against the skin of his forehead. He turned around, walking away from the edge of the cliff, heading towards the cave, where him and his lover Finn stayed, hiding away from both human and elven kind. Both hunting after them, when word somehow got about them being friends. No one knew about them being lovers, except for Finn's mother. She, and their bodyguards were the only ones who knew about their love affair, and they hoped to keep it that way until the time came for them to know. Which will not be soon.

He made it quickly back to the cave, looking at what was inside. A simple hammock, where him and Finn spent their nights sleeping. With two make shift beds on the sides of the cave, where Beren -- Finn's body guard slept -- and where Fate, Paradox's bodyguard slept. There were a couple elven, and human books that they had stolen from library's to read when they were curious, or bored. Finn as trying to teach Paradox the elven language. It was a small progress. A frustrating trip it was. Sacks of non perishable foods rested, stuff they ate when they could not go hunting for an animal.

He walked inside the cave, moving and settled himself into the large hammock, laying his hands behind his closing his eyes. He tried to relax himself, and try to forget about what his father was doing to his people, and what he has done to him.

Fin sighed as he watched over the human town with Paradox. He hated seeing everyone like this. He wished that everyone could live in peace with fair and just laws. He sighed again before pushing his hair out of his face before going back to the cave, letting Paradox be a alone for a bit. He looked at Beren and started talking to him in elvish, getting a little frustrated at what was happening. He sighed before looking at Paradox when he walked in. He watched him go to the hammock before going to lay down beside him and wrapped his arms around him gently and kissed his head gently. "It's going to be ok." He whispered to him in elvish before starting to sing an elven lullaby to him, knowing that Para needed some sleep.

Beren watched them for a bit, smiling then went to the mouth of the cave to keep watch, playing with one of his knives.

Paradox laid in the hammock, thinking about what was going on with his people, and what was going on with his father unable to stop thinking about it. He hated what was going on, knowing it was slowly killing his kind. People were starving to death sometimes, because they could not afford to buy food for themselves. Plus the raids were killing off large amount of people of both species. He hated everything that was going on, he needed to figure out a way to stop it. To save his people, and keep them from suffering anymore.

As he laid there Para would feel strong arm wrap around his laying body. The arms belonging to is elven lover. A forbidden love, that both sides of the creatures hated. But there was no way he could ever hate the owner of the arms that suddenly wrapped around him, he loved him to much. No matter who or what he was, he would always love this person. Yes they had their share of arguments in the past over things that were going on. But they have over come them, because they loved one another and nothing more.

A small smile would spread across his face when he felt the kiss against his head, the feeling calming him down. The thoughts he was thinking before slowly turned to mush, Finn always knowing how to make his worries go away when he wanted them to. He shifted around in the males arm, turning so he was facing him, moving his arms from under his head, laying them against his chest gently, trying to make himself more comfortable.

The only thing he got from the words the male spoke was "its okay," which was all he needed to know from the words. He gave a peaceful smile, moving his head and nuzzled against the males chest gently, breathing out once more. He listened to the elven lullaby that he was singing, his mind and thoughts going hazy. Sleep started taking over his body, as he drifted out into a soothing sleep, it feeling good for his body, He had gone several days without the comfort of sleep, afraid of the nightmare he had continued to have.
--------------------------

Fate was walking around the forest, dragging a dear corpse behind him. He had hunted the majestic beast, and killed all by himself, the others wanting to stay by the cave. It was fine with him, he liked staying alone most of the time now that his Lord Paradox had Finn and Beren watching over him more often than he was.

It felt weird, not being glued to his side like he used to since the young prince was born. He was assigned to the boys side, since he came from the queens womb. He was always by his side, teaching him the sword skills that he knew as well. Teaching him many things that he would need, just in case they would ever be separated and he wasn't around. He had done his best to protect his majesty, and now he wasn't the only one protecting him now. He had always wanted a break, but now that he had one, he didn't know if he wanted to keep this feeling of having a "break."

Shaking his head, the male would continue to walk until he saw the cave into his view, Beren sitting at the mouth of it. Looking like he was guarding it. Which was the smart thing to do, since there seemed to be thieves and bandits of both kinds running around lately. Things were getting harder for them all, and he didn't like this as well. The harder things got, the more they all were going to be put into danger.

He sighed and dropped the deer near the cave, before walking and placing himself down beside Beren, placing his arms on his surprised knees, turning his head and looked at him gently. "I'm guessing his majesty is inside with Finn, cuddling as they seem to normally be doing these days?" He said to him. Beren was supposed to be the guard of Finn, though they acted more like best friends rather than a guard and a prince. It was weird to Fate to see that kind of relationship between them.

He had gotten to know Beren throughout their small adventures with the princes. Their meetings, times alone with them two guarding for intruders. He was waiting for the day when the two wanted to get sexual, and they were expected to guard. And they were going to hear it--okay shut up stop thinking that about your prince. He shuddered at the thought, moving his hands and wound his fingers together, still staring at Beren.

Finn smiled as he watched Paradox get comfortable. He stroked his hair gently as he sand to him, the lullaby drifting throughout the cave, Beren and Fate being able to hear it too. He watched him fall asleep before kissing his forehead gently and decided to sleep as well, needing some. He yawned before shifting slightly and fell asleep.

Beren sighed as he watched the trees before looking at Fate who was dragging the deer along. "Nice hunt." He said, looking at him before nodding when he asked a question. "Yeah he's singing Paradox to sleep." He said, looking at him before out at the trees. He closed his eyes as he smiled listening to the song. "He has such a beautiful voice." He said as the music stopped after a while when Finn went to sleep. "I hope one day they'll be able to live together in peace." He said, looking over at him.

Fate breathed out and nodded to his last words, and nodded rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah me too. To be honest i hoped for their downfall at the beginning of their relationship. I was raised and trained to hate elves, so when I heard and saw that Paradox was secretly meeting up with one I didn't know what to do. Finn made him happy, I could see that, but he wasn't allowed to be around him by order of the king. And I was supposed to follow the order of the kin because i'm his guard," he said dropping his face into his hands. "I even thought about killing Finn once, I was going to get rid of him when Paradox had left one day. But that was the day the two of them kissed for the first time, I could see how his majesty melted in his arms, how much love he had for him in his eyes when the kiss was broken. I couldn't do it after that, I was afraid and I knew it was going to hurt my prince. I would never hurt my prince, no matter what happens," he said gently.

He sighed gently, and stood making his way over to where he had left the deer, grabbing its antlers and lifted it up, moving it around laying it on its stomach. He grabbed his sharp cutting blade, stabbing it deep inside of the dead animal cutting it open. He removed everything inside, breathing out. He started cutting pieces off that he would use later to hang over the fire, to cook for when they woke up and were ready to eat. He was silent basically as he worked, except for the slight grunts as he strained, and grumbles as he slightly talked to himself.

He really did hope that things would be get better one day, that the two would live in happiness, their own life away form the kings and the expectations placed on them by others. He even wondered if he would find happiness , find someone he loved and would want to be with for the rest of his life. Whether it be female or male, he didn't really mind.

Beren blinked as he listened to him. "Well I'm very glad that you didn't kill him because I would not of forgiven you." He said. "I would of you killed you as well if you did that." He said. "I have always been happy with the relationship between those two." He said. "Fin is my friend and I've only ever wanted the best for him." He said before sighing then watched as Fate got up and started to cut the deer up. He watched him for a while before getting up to go check on the sleeping two before sitting down again at the foot of the cave and watched the trees, bow at the ready in case anything happened.

Fate continued to work on the deer, before he finished wiping his forehead. He walked over to the small water area, washing the blood off his hands there. He wiped them off, turning and walking back to Beren looking at him, watching him as he stood guard like he felt like he should be doing. He felt that things were weird now that have changed, and that he wasn't the only one watching over Paradox. Somewhat he missed those days, but he liked having more protection for the prince since everything seemed to be wanting to kill him these days. Well both of them. He breathed out an fell back onto the ground closing his eyes as he rubbed his face.

Beren watched him, chuckling when he fell back onto the ground before looking over at the boys, Finn now awake, hungry. He slowly let go of Paradox before getting up and looked at the fire. "Food!" He said, staring at it. "Can I eat some of it?" He asked, looking at him, really hungry. Beren blinked and chuckled at him. "You always were so weird about food." He chuckled.

Paradox could feel as Finn woke up and got up, but he remained laying there gently, wanting to stay asleep for now, not wanting to wake up having those thoughts he had when he was awake. He slept gently, shifting around and gripped the hammock gently. Fate looked at Finn came running over begging for food, causing him to blink. He leaned up and started the fire that he was going to use to cook the meat. "Yeah you can have food, once it's done cooking. I thought you two were going to sleep longer so I didn't start making it. Ir should be done in a couple minutes, so sit tight hungry hippo." he said gently as he started preparing the meat.

Finn looked at him before pouting and whined lightly. "Aww!" He said, huffing as he sat down on the ground, staring at the meat. "So hungry!" He said, looking at him as Beren walked over. "Calm down Finn." He said, patting his head as Finn pouted at him, causing the other to chuckle at him.
